MEET Lori Matsukawa on May 18, 2024 at 7 PM. TV personality, journalist and now children’s book author Lori Matsukawa will do a pre-show talk reading an excerpt from her new book, Brave Mrs. Sato! Free for those attending the 7:30 PM performance of Unrivaled!Unrivaled is a heart-warming and hilarious historical fiction about two of the most exalted writers of all time - both of whom happen to be women from 11th century Japan – Murasaki Shikibu (The Tale of Genji - credited as the World’s first novel) and Sei Shonagon (The Pillow Book - an intriguing journal of daily life that has become an invaluable historical document).
