The following description comes from the event organizer.

Our friends and neighbors - virtually and actually - at Goethe Popup Seattle present this Saturday morning program with Berlin-based graphic novelist Mikael Ross, for his newly published book, The Thud (Fantagraphics). Translated by Nika Knight, this YA graphic novel is the story of a young boy with developmental disabilities whose world gets rent asunder when his mother suffers a stroke - and he must take life on his own. And does. How and where he does is told of with empathy, feeling, and striking artwork.
