Lowercase Brewing in Georgetown has a nifty use for their spent grain: they repurpose it into waffles. Just for Waffle Day, they'll throw a special Saturday brunch with waffles, blackberry compote, barrel-aged maple syrup made with their ESB (extra-special bitter beer), spicy bacon, and their signature Side Hustle doughnuts, also made with spent grain. Plus, throw back some witbier orange and grapefruit mimosas and cold brew coffee.
