June is Orca Action Month in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. This month-long celebration brings together researchers, advocates, and orca lovers, providing a community to celebrate these magnificent animals and raise awareness of the threats they are facing. Join the Orca Salmon Alliance for a virtual Orca Month Kick-off from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on June 5th. The Orca Month theme for 2022 is Stream to Sea: Celebrating the Orca-Salmon connection. Through a mix of videos and presentations you will learn about rivers and streams that are important to the survival of Southern Resident orcas and what you can do to protect them.
