Beacon Food Forest and Tilth Alliance have teamed up to offer a series of virtual workshops this fall and winter. The series is themed around utilizing permaculture-based ideas in ways that are relevant to urban communities, while harnessing creative, solution-based actions to help mitigate and adapt to climate change.

Between Oct 2021 and Jan 2022, you can join in to learn about creating drought resilient water systems, enhancing biodiversity and increasing carbon storage in our landscapes, incorporating fungi into gardens, using social permaculture practices to help process our felt experience of climate change and take action, regenerating the soil with fermented food waste, and more!! The lineup of speakers is pretty spectacular and includes Laura Allen, Marisha Auerbach, Tara Rodriguez Besosa, Loni Ronnebaum, Eric Toensmeier, Bonita Eloise Ford, Cuauhtémoc Villa, Jude Hobbs and Carey Thornton.
