Two new political books from two veteran comics artists! Peter Bagge, who started out his career skewering pop culture in Hate and Neat Stuff, is out with his third biography of a (currently) relatively unknown feminist trailblazer. In Credo: The Rose Wilder Lane Story, Bagge sketches out the life of Lane, who was Laura Ingalls Wilder's daughter, as well as an early proponent of the libertarian movement. James Sturm's new book, Off Season, tells the story of a married couple whose separation parallels the country's split in 2016. I was about to make a joke about Rose Wilder Lane discovering free-market solutions for divorce, but it seems like she actually had one—she was against the institution of marriage. by Rich Smith
