This evening’s virtual program marks a welcome Elliott Bay return for writer/activist/catalyst Ru Freeman. The author of the novels A Disobedient Girl and On Sal Mal Lane, the editor of anthologies (Extraordinary Rendition: American Writers on Palestine and Indivisible: Global Leaders on Shared Security), with a book of essays also forthcoming and poetry published in journals, she has virtually here tonight with her brilliant book of stories, Sleeping Alone (Graywolf Press).
