Every summer, this iconic festival started in 1950 puts on dozens of events throughout Seattle, including community parades and cultural celebrations. The biggest highlight is Seafair Weekend (Aug 4-6), which features Blue Angels air shows, hydroplane races, and tons more signature outdoor activities. Other major happenings include the Seafair Summer Fourth, Seafair Indian Days Powwow (July 21-23), Seafair Triathlon (Sun July 23), the Alaska Airlines Seafair Torchlight Parade (Sat July 29), and Pista sa Nayon (Sun July 30).
