Sheldon's Showcase: Sidd Jagadish, Giantish, and Hopie Jo
The following description comes from the event organizer.
Sheldon’s Showcase highlights handpicked talent from our Sunday night open mics, curated by our open mic host Sheldon Rosevear.
Sidd Jagadish plays solo fingerstyle lyrically-driven acoustic folk music. His songs are often character studies about people both real and fictional, and occasionally about himself. He tries his best to channel his biggest inspirations, such as Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, and Joni Mitchell, into intricate guitar textures, vivid imagery, and immersive storytelling.

Many of you know Brad Chamberlain from the open mic circuit in Seattle over the past year. He will be debuting his new band, Giantish, at Sheldon's Showcase on Dec 7. Brad lived in Chiang Mai, Thailand, for many years, moving back to the USA just in time for the pandemic. He has played at music festivals all around Thailand with his previous band, Jai Yen. Come see Giantish, for a night of good vibes, maybe a little dancing, and for sure, a lovely time chilling together in community.

“Hopie Jo” is singer songwriter multi-instrumentalist with over 10 years of experience performing music around the US midwest. Named appropriately for her fun and quirky stage presence, Hopie’s music is expressive and whimsical, with streaks of sometimes dark vulnerability; inviting the listeners to enjoy the beautiful dynamic between pain and joy. You will find her finger picking guitar and ukulele right into your heart!
