Whoa!!! Terry Reid!?! In town?!?! Dang. If you’re not in the know, in 1968, Mr. Reid was tapped as the first choice to front the New Yardbirds or, as they became known, Led Zeppelin—he had THAT KIND OF VOICE—but he passed and went on to record his own remarkable and highly regarded records. I’m not too sure if he’ll devastate us by belting out songs like he could in 1968, but, though tempered and seasoned by age, he still has that voice, and from what I gather, he’ll be playing the more stripped-down songs from his singer-songwriter repertoire. by Mike Nipper
