The Cascade PBS Ideas Festival brings together journalists, newsmakers, and innovators from around the country to talk about the issues that are animating our cultural conversations. The festival includes live recordings of television and podcasts from The Atlantic, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, Vox, Slate, Pushkin, NPR and PBS; as well as community meetups, meet-and-greets, food trucks, DJs and more.Guest speakers includes Historian HEATHER COX RICHARDSON, who writes the hugely popular nightly newsletter "Letters from an American", former AMBASSADOR JOHN BOLTON, CNN international correspondent NADA BASHIR, award-winning author and journalist, TA-NEHISI COATES, Co-founder, March For Our Lives DAVID HOGG, and a live taping of "THE JOURNAL", from the Wall Street Journal, have been added to this year's Cascade PBS Ideas Festival. This year's lineup also includes live podcast recordings of REVISIONIST HISTORY with MALCOLM GLADWELL and TEXT ME BACK with LINDY WEST and MEAGAN HATCHER-MAYS. Even more speakers and podcasts will continue to be added in the weeks ahead!
