Italy's explosive geological history has created extreme topography, and a plethora of diverse soils from volcanic origin -- come discover the wine from these regions!From North to South, some of the most heralded volcanic terroirs hail from Piemonte, Veneto, Lazio, Umbria, Campania, and Sicilia.
In this lecture, Tanya will explore the the volcanic history and the resulting soils which craft these amazing wines. We will explore the imapact of these soils and topography on the wines, and discocver what makes these volcanic wines so alluring.
