"Inspired by a 1906 poem from African American writer Paul Laurence Dunbar, this unique drama shows the relationship between a Deaf woman and a hearing man in two parallel love stories, taking place in both the early 1900s and 1990s Chicago. Their stories explore aspects of Black culture and Black Deaf culture. Starring Michelle Angela Banks, an award-winning, pioneering Black Deaf actress." (Promo Copy)

"There are no tickets for this film, the film will be shown for free in part of support of #blacklivesmatter. We encourage viewers to please donate to BLM or other related advocacy groups. You can find some Seattle based organizations here."
