Every year, SPL puts on a Seattle Reads program, through which the entire city is invited to read and discuss a single book, and there are accompanying events and a talk from the featured author. This year, they've chosen PEN/Hemingway Award-winning author Tommy Orange's There There, which will take place was rescheduled from May. Rich Smith called the book "completely absorbing, character-rich, kinda funny, mostly pretty sad, definitely existentially fraught, fast-paced-but-not-really-"propulsive"-until-the-end."
