Acclaimed mridangam artist and composer Rajna Swaminathan will bring together Seattle-based artists across disciplines for collaborative improvisational performance that "[pushes] the boundaries of their creative process." The experimental ensemble’s name, Mangal, is described as "harmonious or sacred timing" in Sanskrit.
