Originally hailing from Amish country, Suzanne Westenhoefer has shirked tradition to bring no-limits humor to the stage for 25 years. The hilarious truthteller started her career in the '90s as an out-and-proud lesbian comedian, which made her a pioneer of the era—she was the first-ever openly lesbian comic to appear on Late Night with David Letterman and the first to have an HBO special, too. Westenhoefer paved the way for a whole new generation of LGBTQIA+ comedians, and she deserves a round of applause for that alone, but we're sure this funny performance will give attendees plenty to clap about.
