Looking to support local businesses and also learn more about wine this holiday season? Try a wine club! Seattle is home to a wealth of clubs, from hip natural wine subscriptions like the ones at Glinda List and Left Bank List to more traditional ones like those at Elsom Cellars List and Chateau Ste. Michelle List . Whether you're looking for a thoughtful gift for your favorite oenophile or just to treat yourself to a bit of at-home decadence since you can't dine indoors at restaurants right now, we've gathered a selection for you to choose from. MONTHLY

Addo List
Ingrid Lyublinsky, the director of operations at Eric Rivera's experimental pop-up restaurant, curates three, five, or 10 bottles a month for Addo's monthly wine club subscription, available for pickup or delivery. The bottles are a surprise, but you can inform Ingrid of anything you'd like to avoid when you sign up.

Brimmer & Heeltap List
The Ballard gastropub's founder Jen Doak started the monthly "Common Cents Wine Club," which focuses on natural and ethical wines, to "bring some of our favorite wines to you, and to help us all stay more connected as we share meals together." You can sign up to receive three or six wines each month. If you're looking for something to pair with your wine, there's also a monthly cheese club with three or six cheeses each month. Orders are ready on the last Wednesday of each month and available for pickup within 48 hours or for free delivery within three blocks of the restaurant. (For November and December, pickups will be a bit earlier to allow customers to get their wine and cheese in time for the holidays. The deadline for signups for November is November 17, while the deadline for December is December 15.)

Champion Wine Cellars List
Champion's "Premier" and "Grande" wine clubs both offer options for three or six bottles a month and have multiple ways to customize the offerings to your preferences, from the types of wines you prefer to drink to your personal wine drinking style (such as "big and bold," "adventurer," or "the seasonalist"). Every package includes tasting notes, wine history, and recipes for suggested pairings. Other benefits include a 5% discount off other purchases and a waived tasting fee. Orders are fulfilled on the 15th of each month and must be placed by the 10th to participate in that month's wine club.

Glinda List
This recently opened Capitol Hill natural wine shop named for the benevolent and sparkly Wizard of Oz witch has a monthly wine club with tiers for "good" (two bottles for everyday drinking), "great" (two limited bottles "that tell a distinct story"), and "gorgeous" (four bottles from the "good" and "great" tiers with an added discount). Each comes with notes, aΒ 5% discount on retail wine purchases all month long, and exclusive invites to tastings and events once that's possible again. Pickup is available for all tiers on the first Thursday of each month, and the "Gorgeous" tier is also available for Seattle delivery the first Saturday of each month.

Left Bank List
Feel like a natural wine cool kid with Left Bank's clubs, "Wine Clique" (a monthly subscription for six bottles) and "Coterie Club" (a monthly subscription with three to four special bottles). Both come with tasting and pairing notes and a soundtrack, plus a 5% discount on all purchases.

L'Oursin List
The charming French bistro's "Vagrant Wine Club" is a "collective of like-minded vins naturels enthusiasts," with six curated bottles of organic and biodynamic wine revolving around a certain theme each month, plus extensive notes, recipes from the bar and kitchen, and "whatever other extras and surprises we're compelled to include." Options are available for one month ($150), six months ($855), or a year ($1620).

For her "Molly's Bottle Club," Molly's Bottle Shop owner Molly Ringe hand-picks four bottles each month and includes details about the wine and winemaker, food pairing suggestions, tasting notes, and more. Signup is due by the end of the month for pickup the following month.

This wine shop offers a wine club for every budget, including an inexpensive "Portalis Explores" club with two bottles for $30 or under each month, a slightly more expensive "Portalis Flagship" club with two or three bottles a month around a specific theme, and a "Full Boat" club with offerings from both other clubs. All options come with emailed tasting notes.

Wide Eyed Wines List
The "Bottle Rocket Club" at this recently opened shop inside Chophouse Row offers four bottles of "awesome natural, organic and biodynamic wine" a month. Later on, the club will have more options for customization, as well as tasting videos and producer information.

This Madrona wine bar and shop has a "Thirsty Wine Club" with four quarterly packages of three or six bottles of wine, with different themes for each year and season. This year's theme is "Supernatural 2.0," a continuation of last year's natural wine theme.

XOBC Cellars List
The local Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Brandi Carlile has launched her own wine club with rosΓ©, grenache, and syrah, with proceeds benefiting her nonprofit the Looking Out Foundation, which distributes funds to a variety of underrepresented causes and has currently set up an emergency fund for vulnerable and at-risk communities affected by COVID-19. The wines are produced by winemaker Sean Boyd and are sent out twice a year, in the fall and spring.
