The following description comes from the event organizer.

From starry concerts to big ticket games, Seattle brings people together for some unforgettable experiences, every day of the year. But not everyone benefits from it. In our latest installment of our Advancing Racial Equity Event Series in partnership with Seattle University, a dynamic panel of business leaders and entrepreneurs will explore how we can better use our voice and dollars to enrich all our neighborhoods and communities equitably.

Featuring:

Doug Baldwin Jr. - Former Seattle Seahawk and CEO of Vault89 Ventures
Laura Clise - Founder and CEO, Intentionalist
Chera Amlag - Co-Founder and Head Baker, Hood Famous Bakeshop
Maya Mendoza-Exstrom - COO Seattle Sounders FC & Seattle 2026 FIFA World Cup Host City Board Co-Chair

As part of our racial equity journey working side by side with communities to build an equitable future for everyone, proceeds from this event will go toward supporting The Black Community Building Collective, The Indigenous Communities Fund, and the Racial Equity Coalition.
