The following description comes from the event organizer.

Join us for Casa Latina’s virtual En Camino Gala: Rooted & Resilient. It will be an evening of celebration of our Latinx community with music, dancing, and stories of power. Our featured speakers will be Jorge Zepeda, a long-time Casa Latina member whose leadership has helped support the community through COVID-19.

Joining Jorge will be Maria Hinojosa, a four-time Emmy winner who was one of the first journalists to investigate children being held in detention centers at the Southern Border. Maria is the Anchor and Executive Producer of Latino USA and Co-Host of Futuro Media’s podcast In the Thick. People En Español named Maria as one of the top 25 most powerful Latina women.

The virtual gala is FREE but registration is required. A link to join the event will be sent to those who register.  ** Register here: **

Founded in 1994, Casa Latina has been a pillar in the Seattle Latin immigrant community for over 25 years, advancing the power and well-being of Latino immigrants through employment, education, and community organizing.
