Fremont loves their quirky parades, and we love them for it! Celebrate Mardi Gras this weekend as the annual Petit Troll Parade marches around the Fremont Sunday Market with a 17-piece brass band, handmade miniature floats, and Second Line-style umbrellas. All are welcome to join in the parade, where beads, colorful costumes, and enthusiasm are much encouraged. The parade kicks off at noon in Evanston Plaza. by Shannon Lubetich
