The following description comes from the event organizer.

The Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra (SRJO) has an exciting 2022-23 season of five concerts featuring the full 17-piece ensemble performing live from their regular concert halls. SRJO presents Seattle's top jazz players sharing the stage for special performances with internationally acclaimed guest artists. The entire 2022-23 is presented in tribute to the centenary of the birth of composer/bassist Charles Mingus, and some of his works will be included in each concert throughout the year, in addition to the February 2023 concerts that are a special celebration dedicated entirely to the Mingus legacy.
